This will depend on level of experience and whether the role is a permanent role or an interim role.

For permanent roles, pay levels will be in the £40,000-£65,000 range. These will be for candidates who are generally on their second or third role.

For interim mid-level roles you will be looking at the £350-£500 range, again depending on type of role and level of experience.

This will depend on your level and experience, but usually around seven years of experience.

This will depend on the size and type of organisation and whether it has line management responsibility but, as a rule of thumb, an internal communicator will need a minimum of seven years of experience to become a Head of Internal Communicators and 10+ for a Director of Internal Communications.

Internal Communication contract roles are usually 6 or 12 months. Often, they are extended.

Part-time internal communication roles at the mid to senior level are available from time to time, although many companies, conscious of their health and wellness responsibilities, do usually offer work at home or hybrid working models.

There are various working models out there for internal communication jobs: work from home, office based and hybrid. Most companies are flexible but generally require at least three days working from an office.

Once we have a brief from a client we will move very quickly to present our best matched shortlist of candidates. The permanent process can be four to eight weeks, depending on the number of interviews required. Interim jobs are generally filled much more quickly – with a shortlist presented within two or three days and often a rapid start date once a candidate is chosen.
