Encouragement is central to Philip’s work as executive coach and facilitator of behavioural change: realising potential for individuals, their teams and the wider organisation. For him, this is about engaging the heart, head and guts to generate results which support desired outcomes. Philip always starts new assignments by saying: “You don’t have to believe a word I say, we need to find our own truth”.

Coaching style

Philip is regarded as a coach who is affirming and challenging enabling people to be the best they can be. He helps clients have useful conversations that inspire the action needed to achieve their personal and business aims. He is personally motivated by realising potential for individuals and teams. He believes that with integrity (wholeness), everything belongs while context and desired outcome are key. Knowing “busyness” is an all-round killer, Philip’s approach assumes leadership adaptability is key to success with innovation and renewed energy close behind. He has developed an approach which puts coaching into strategy, supporting senior leaders and their teams to co-create effective action to achieve key change objectives.

Philip creates an excellent environment for coaching which has enabled me to be open and share my experiences. Philip has coached me to examine situations from an alternative perspective, which has helped me to make mature and balanced decisions… Consequently I am able to be far more self-sufficient and apply what I have learnt on a daily basis.
