We match the experienced with the inexperienced to help create the leaders of the future.

We’re pleased to launch the Comma Partners mentoring scheme: a free initiative that connects experienced strategic communicators with those in the early stages of their internal communications (IC) career.
Mentees will receive support and guidance to grow their skills and confidence, and mentors will have the chance to give something back to the community whilst further developing their softer skills such as empathy and listening.
While open to everyone, this scheme is designed to support those in the early stages of their career, so we do advise those interested in being mentored to have up to five years’ experience in IC, and mentors to have operated at Senior Manager level or above in order to bring a well-rounded level of experience to their mentee.

Application windows for the mentoring scheme will open quarterly: in October, January, April, and July, and will be open for one month.
We aim to match people within four weeks of receiving applications though we are expecting high demand so do bear with us as we aim to match everyone with the most suitable mentor/mentee for their requirements.
Please note that the number of applications may vary, and at times we may receive more interest from either mentors or mentees. If we’re unable to match you in the window you applied for, we’ll be in touch and aim to include you in the next round.
We recommend a commitment of one – two hours per month for a minimum of six months, though partnerships can continue for longer or shorter depending on what works best for you.
