Our client, a mid-sized insurance company with 200 global employees, is looking for an experienced Senior Communications Manager on a permanent basis paying £70k.
This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for leading and delivering the organisation’s global communications strategy. The successful candidate will ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across all channels and audiences, enhance the brand and reputation, and provide expert communications support to senior leadership.
This is a dual internal and external communications position and would suit someone who has worked in financial services before. The role reports into the Chief of Staff and will play an integral part in building a high-quality, respectable communications function whilst growing a global brand in key target markets.
The role holder will have the responsibility of shaping and delivering a clear, compelling narrative for the business whilst developing an integrated communications strategy that supports business goals. Leading both internal and external communications with clarity and consistency, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on brand, reputation, and communications, managing media relations, PR agency partnerships, and key corporate announcements with confidence and finesse.
They’ll also oversee digital and social channels to strengthen brand visibility and engagement, and drive internal connection through impactful storytelling and executive messaging.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience in corporate communications, ideally in financial services, insurance, or professional services
- Strong experience with media relations, storytelling, and strategic communications
- Proven ability to manage communications for M&A or large-scale corporate initiatives
- Confident, strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on approach, comfortable working in a dynamic and international business
