We’re delighted to be partnering with a global consumer goods company to source them a Senior Internal Communications Manager on an initial 6-month contract, with a view to go permanent. Working closely with the Head of Communications this role would suit a communications professional with line management experience who is looking to join a successful business.
The Senior Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for:
- Working with the Executive team on key leadership and performance initiatives, developing clear plans, messaging and touchpoints.
- Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, advising on communications approach, core messaging and CEO Office projects.
- Working on a regular drumbeat of events and key moments to share and explore company direction and strategy, with a strong storytelling perspective.
- Leading innovative campaigns and events that highlight and celebrate the business, consumers, customers and partners in the most engaging and creative way
- Developing a compelling narrative around the business’ world-class innovation and product development
- Managing and developing a high-performing communications team
Key experience required:
- Extensive experience working in communications, preferably in a global, matrixed organisation.
- A strategic thinker who is also happy to regularly ‘get stuck in and do the doing’.
- Excellent written skills and sound sense of judgement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with confidence, managing many different stakeholders and competing priorities to maximum effect.
- Experience working closely with Executive and senior leaders.
- Experience and understanding of managing various communications channels and systems, including analytics.
This role has a June start with interviews taking place w/c 19 and 26 May.
It has a hybrid working model with 3 days p/w in the central London office.
