We’ve partnered with a mid-sized energy firm to hire a Senior IC Manager on a permanent basis. Sitting in a team of three and reporting into the Director of IC, this role will have responsibility for digital channels as well as face-to-face events. The hiring manager is looking for someone who has significant events experience in an IC capacity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimisation of all channels across multiple platforms (printed, digital and in-person events). They’ll collaborate closely with key stakeholders to develop and execute the IC strategy that supports organisational goals, enhances employee engagement and promotes a positive corporate culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channels strategy development: Develop a comprehensive channels strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives, priorities, and values that keep employees informed, inspired, and connected to the organisation and the work they do.
- Content management: Create engaging and relevant content for campaigns covering digital, printed and in-person channels ensuring consistency in messaging.
- Channel optimisation: Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of all channels using analytics and prepare dashboards and reporting to measure the effectiveness of internal channels, proposing improvements where needed.
- Metrics and analytics: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives to demonstrate a return on investment for channel spend. Using metrics and feedback to inform and drive decision making and continually improve strategies and tactics.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of event management, both large and small scale.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytics platforms to track and measure performance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Knowledge of IC best practices, including employee engagement and channel management.
- Experience of communication tools and platforms, including print, digital and in-person communication.
- High level of professionalism, discretion and integrity.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging communications for a diverse audience.
This is a permanent role with 8 days per month in the central London office.
