Change Communications Manager
The role:
We’ve partnered exclusively with a leading global financial services business to find them a Change Communications Manager on a 12-month contract, paying up to £74,000 + fantastic benefits (see end of advert).
As the Change Communications Manager, the successful candidate will be the ‘go-to’ person for all things change. Leading on an upcoming largescale change programme as well as supporting on other smaller changes over the next 12-months, the hiring manager is looking for a strategic thinker who is also keen to play a key role in delivering the change communications across the business.
The role reports into, and works closely with, the Head of Internal Communications and sits in a newly formed, creative and high-energy IC function. The hiring manager is looking for someone who is comfortable working in a change environment, ideally with some financial services experience and knowledge of wider corporate communications, if possible.
Responsibilities:
- Play a vital part in shaping and developing the strategic communications narrative for colleagues, which is aligned to business objectives and overall strategy
- Responsible for leading and implementing change communications programmes across the UK business, working with IC colleagues to plan activity and execute campaigns.
- Coach the wider team as required, providing feedback and mentoring to support their development.
- Ensuring high quality delivery of engagement strategies, campaigns, key announcements, internal news, transformation programme communications, member updates, internal campaigns and events
- Leading, managing and developing an internal comms officer aligned to the People Team, helping them prioritise where needed, inspiring them in their work and professional development and ensuring they are well connected and supported by the broader internal comms team
Experience required:
- This is a senior role requiring an individual with demonstrable experience devising and executing impactful colleague communications and engagement programmes to drive change
- Proven track record of achieving success in change and transformation environments
- Ability to adapt messages to different audiences
- Strong influencing skills with experience working closely with board level professionals
