Head of Internal Communications
The role:
We’ve partnered exclusively with a global listed business with c.20,000 employees to help them find their next Head of Internal Communications.
Reporting into the Director of Internal Communications and working closely with the SLT, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who is able to advise and influence at all levels. They’ll have significant global communications experience and understand cultural sensitivities. The hiring manager is looking for someone who has experience managing change communications, ideally during largescale M&A.
This is an exciting time to join the business as it continues to build from strength to strength and has big plans to further grow in 2025 and beyond. If you’re looking to join a high-energy, fast-paced business during large growth, this could be the role for you. This role has no line management requirement at present, though there may be potential for this in the future. It also has lots of flexibility with one day per week required in the London office (though again, this can change if business requirements demand). To note, with it being a global role, there will be an expectation to work outside the standard 9am – 5pm with the team being working across different global time zones. Responsibilities:
- Delivering an global internal communications strategy
- Leading communications integration workstreams for future M&A activity
- Leading change/transformation communications, working collaboratively with wider Transformation team
- Coaching team members and overseeing monthly meetings
- Leading IC events
Experience required:
- Previous global experience, working across multiple time zones and cultures
- A strategic operator with the ability to align campaigns and plans to the overall business strategy
- Proven experience partnering with SLT
- Stakeholder management with exceptional influencing and engagement skills, building credibility and trust
- Business acumen: decision making, commercial awareness and Industry knowledge
- Previous experience leading on M&A or integration workstreams for IC
