Internal Communications Lead

The role:

We’ve partnered exclusively with a leading global professional services business to find them an Internal Communications Lead, paying up to £75,000. 

As the Internal Communications Lead (People), you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee engagement and aligning business goals with internal messaging. Your goal is to ensure essential messages reach and engage members through appropriate internal channels across the region. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders within the People team ensuring communications activities are joined up and align to the business’ overall business strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a Business Partner for the People team on internal engagement and communications.  This will involve engaging with the People community and their stakeholders across the firm to understand and respond to communication needs
  • Working with our Head of Culture, Equity and Inclusion (CEI) to take the lead on CEI communications
  • Working with the Internal Communications Lead and other key stakeholders to establish a 12-month internal communications plan that includes key People focused activities and outcomes
  • Ensuring high quality delivery of engagement strategies, campaigns, key announcements, internal news, transformation programme communications, member updates, internal campaigns and events
  • Leading, managing and developing an internal communications officer aligned to the People Team

Experience required:

  • Proven management experience in the field of internal communications, ideally in a professional services environment
  • Significant experience in communicating transformation programmes effectively to a diverse audience
  • Friendly and collaborative manner, with a willingness to step in/up as needed and adapt style and approach to achieve quality results
  • Curiosity, a desire to lean across the business to help move the People agenda forward in the context of communications and engagement
  • The ability and enthusiasm to both develop strategic, well considered plans and support on tactical implementation
