Q1 reflections and round-up

Q2, at long last! As we look forward to the longer days and remain optimistic for a shift in the IC market,  we’re rounding up Q1 by focusing on positive reflections during what’s continued to be a challenging market for many. We spent a large portion of our recent team get-together in London celebrating:
⭐ the offers we’ve made this year so far
⭐ the encouraging conversations we’ve had with clients
⭐ the increasing LinkedIn posts sharing people starting new roles.

We’re optimistic that Q2 will finally bring some light to the end of what’s been a very long tunnel for many looking for their next opportunity.

While we try to remain positive planning for the year ahead, much of our conversation was centred around our shared concern for the declining wellbeing of IC specialists – both those in role and actively job-searching. The Gallagher – Employee Experience & Communication 2024 State of the Sector report shared almost 40% of respondents have seen it deteriorate in the last 12 months, and sadly, based on the conversations we’re having, we’re not surprised.
